Terrible experience. It's been almost two years since I went to their carpentry shop to have two floating shelves made for my living room, shelves that to this day I've barely been able to use. They helped me in their workshop and assured me they would look fantastic because they installed invisible supports inside the shelves (made of solid wood) that were invisible and could support quite a bit of weight (I was worried that they would buckle because they were long). I paid the deposit as they told me so they could come and measure and install them. From that moment until they came to measure, it would take about a month. Another month and a bit longer for them to come and install them, and when I opened the door, they brought shelves of the wrong thickness and size. Again, another month and a bit for them to have to remake them. In short, even though I ordered them in September, they came to install them over the December long weekend, always with some excuse for not being able to make it, canceling several appointments. He left them mounted (placing a huge line of silicone between the shelf and the wall so the unevenness of the wall wouldn't be visible, even though I told him I didn't want it) and told us not to put any weight on them for 24 hours so they would hold properly. We left them unweighted for 5 days because we were leaving, and when we returned, we replaced the books. The next day, the shelves had slumped about 2 cm. We contacted him, and he assured us he'd fix it as quickly as possible, so we shouldn't worry. It took him quite a while to fix it again. He put a foam padding between the shelf and the wall that was supposed to hold them in place, so they wouldn't move anymore. If it wasn't working, he assured us he'd redo it, fix the wall, and hang them with another support. It didn't work, and they slumped again even though we didn't put any more weight on them. We got in touch again, and he assured us he'd stop by again to see him... I gave birth around that time, and with the baby at home, we told him to come by in the summer to fix it. We've been chasing him around ever since, with no solution, putting us off, making appointments he never showed up for... When we got serious, he blocked our phones and texted us in a rather disrespectful manner. After we went to the store, even one of his colleagues had to take responsibility, saying he'd fix it for us because it couldn't be left like that, that it was a disgrace. But that colleague, after further delays and after speaking with him, also disappeared. I guess I'll just let the mess sink in, but if the review helps anyone, don't hire him; he's not serious or professional.
